Potty Train
A few mornings ago I was getting dressed and heard a pppsssssshhhhhh sound. I walked into the bathroom and Bryce had his puppy on the toilet. It’s really a stuffed polar bear that he calls a puppy, even though he KNOWS what it is. I think he does it just to bug me. I tried really hard not to laugh! He had a very serious look on his face. He said, “What?? Puppy needs to go pee.” So I said, “Oh, ok. Are you trying to potty train?” After a quick bewildered look, he looked down at the floor, pointed at my feet and replied, “Yes, but you’re standing on it.”"What? The potty train?”, I asked.
Bryce said, “Yes, and you need to get off it or puppy can’t go on it.”

That same day, at dinner time, I called everyone to wash their hands so we could eat. When Bryce came into the kitchen I asked if he washed his hands. He said, “Yes, and so did puppy…smell.” (*holding up two stuffed, soaking wet puppy/polar bear paws*) Since puppy was clean, he was allowed to sit at the table with us and eat spaghetti…out of an empty bowl, of course.
